A short document about what the service does, what it does not do, and what you must not rely on it for.
What this service is
MyPills is an app and a device that help medication be taken on time: a schedule, reminders, and an alert to the family when a dose is not confirmed. The operator is Aliaksei Herasimenok, sole proprietor, registration number 192612658.
By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The service does not replace a doctor and is not a medical device
MyPills does not diagnose, does not prescribe and does not check whether a regimen is correct. What to take and when is the doctor's decision; the service only helps follow what has already been prescribed.
The service is not registered as a medical device in any jurisdiction. It must not be used as the only means of control where an error or a delay is directly life-threatening — with insulin, for instance, or other fast-acting medication.
Never rely on a reminder alone. A notification may not arrive: a phone can be off, a network unavailable, and a third-party channel guarantees nothing.
Your account
An account may be opened by an adult. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done under your account.
You are responsible for what you enter: the schedule, the amounts, what is in each cell. The service carries out what you set and cannot check whether it is right.
Inviting a relative or a carer opens your medication record to them. Invite only people you would trust with it.
Regions and territory
Cloud services are offered in two regions: the European Union and Russia. The region is chosen at registration and decides on whose territory your data is held.
Cloud services are not offered in the Republic of Belarus. By registering you confirm that you are not located in, and not a resident of, the Republic of Belarus.
We do not verify this technically and do not block access by network address: an error in such a check would mean somebody not getting their medication schedule.
Local mode
The dispenser can be used with no account and no internet: it is set up straight from a phone or a laptop, and the schedule lives in the device itself.
Local mode is available regardless of country, the Republic of Belarus included, because in that mode no personal data reaches us at all.
Local mode has no alerts to family, no history on a server and no recovery. Lose both the device and the browser you set it up from, and the schedule has to be made again.
Plans and payment
The service is free while it is in open testing. We will say so in advance before paid plans begin.
Dropping to a lower plan never switches off a critical reminder silently: we warn you before anything stops working.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, delivery of notifications on time, or the working of third-party channels.
We do not limit our liability for intent or gross negligence, nor where the law of your country does not allow such a limit.
Beyond that, we are not liable for the consequences of you or your family relying on the service as the only means of keeping track of medication.
Ending it
You may delete your account at any time; the data goes with it.
We may stop serving an account if these terms are broken, or if the service closes, giving notice by email beforehand — except where delay would be dangerous.
Governing law
The law of the operator's place of registration applies, unless mandatory rules of your country of residence say otherwise.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep every right your country's law gives you, including the right to bring proceedings where you live.
